While design is my main passion I have branched into marketing and content creation. I currently have certifications in Marketing foundations, Social Media Marketing, SEO foundations, Email marketing, and Digital marketing. So far I have a few projects I am working on at the moment. One is social media content creation for my personal account and the second is my personal social media marketing.

Growth of a professional instagram account engaging with the local Ottawa community and other recent graduates. Offering a variety of reels and posts. Including educational, lifetsyle and personality based content.

Creative, friendly, welcoming and adventerous.

Ontario residents ages 18 - 35 primarily female.

03 - Values
Community - supporting local businesses and connecting with other residents.
Exploration - Highlighting hidden gems
Creativity - inspiring and aesthetic visuals

Feed Concepts:
Consistent colour themes and typography. Tailored instagram and TikTok feed to fit the desired image.

Post Planning:
Planned 2-3 posts per week including one reel. Posts will be designed 1 week in advance to prevent delays to schedule.

Results

At the beginning of this project engagement and views were low. On average the account got 195 views every 30 days and only gained interactions from 20% non followers and 80% followers. Most viewers of content did not interact with the posts. This lead to very little growth only gaining an average of 3 followers a month.

As of August 2025, the marketing plan for @hello_lizmarie worked. Gaining a total of 10 followers in 30 days and increased views by over 5K. (Results will be updated monthly)

Why The Plan Worked:
The plan used hooks to capture viewers attention, more aesthetically pleasing visuals, and reels to reach more viewers outside of followers. Trendy audio was used and interactive posts grew engagement. Such as polls, encouraging commenting and interacting with followers.

The Plan Moving Forward:
The goal is to increase profile visits and gain website visits. By November 2025, the desired goal is to reach 10K views a month and gain over 100 followers.

Marketing Plan Project

Marketing plan to drive site visits and interactions on social media. Increasing visits, driving more employers and clients in the local area to view portfolio.
