
Gloria's Florals Branding & Web Design
Gloria's is a small flower shop that wishes to delivery flowers locally for customers. Before proceeding with the web design a logo redesign was necessary. The old logo was outdated and did not match the shop's atmosphere. The process started with target market research, sketches, edits and final designs. Then I continued the process by doing user research and competitive analysis before designing the website.

The Process
About The Shop:
Gloria’s is a small local flower shop that wants to expand and deliver flowers to your door step. They are known for being a friendly prescence in their community. Donating flowers frequently for charity events and for grieving families. The shop is clean and modern.
The Concept and Process:
I started the process by researching the shop, it's target audience, their goals, competitors, and how I can meet the client's goals. I then created a mood board to show the direction the logo would go in. Two rounds of sketches were done before final approved logo. The concept behind the logo was to be recognizable and clean by avoiding common flower shop clichés such as roses and fine line fonts. The serif font was chosen to add more character and was inspired from the original logo.
Business Goals:
Gloria’s goals are to expand to the rest of the North Grenville area through delivery. They want to update the shop’s social media and compete with local shops. They wish to offer customers an easy and customizable way to shop.

Unique Selling Point: The unique selling point of Gloria’s Florals is that they offer more than just ready made flowers. They offer custom bouquets, decorations and cards.
Problem Statement:
The current logo is outdated and the shop has gone through many renovations over the years. The problem is that the current logo does not match the shop anymore and needs a redesign. Our goal is to work together to create a clean, modern and friendly branding that fits Gloria’s Florals new direction.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed researching the target audience and creating a site that fits Gloria's goals. I believe I achieved the desired design with a clean and modern logo. The site is easy to navigate and has consistent branding.
